Temple Adat Elohim presents workshop for interfaith couples

Temple Adat Elohim will present a four-part workshop titled "Times and Seasons: Interfaith Couples Group" designed to address the needs of interfaith couples, engaged couples and those contemplating a life together in an interfaith relationship. The workshop serves as a framework for open and frank discussions about the concerns and issues in interfaith marriage. This group will explore religious and cultural issues partners confront in relationship, family life and religious involvement while growing up and concerns about the religious identity of children.

The workshop provides an opportunity to clarify questions about Jewish traditions, beliefs and practices. Discussions will be within a supportive, non-judgmental environment at the temple, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.

"Times and Seasons" will meet from 7-10 p.m. Thursdays, Oct. 9, 16, 23 and 30. The class will conclude with a Friday evening potluck-style dinner, date to be announced.

Cost is $75 per couple and pre-registration is required and may be made by calling Xall Teri at (805) 497-7101. The workshop is open to the public and temple membership is not required.
