Rotary Club honors local students

The Rotary Club of Thousand Oaks honored 24 Conejo Valley Unified School District students at its 17th annual Youth Citizenship Award program for their scholarship, leadership, citizenship and contributions to the community.

Every elementary and middle school in the district was asked to nominate a student who fills certain criteria, with staff and faculty submitting a detailed account of the nominee’s school, charitable and civic contributions.

The recipients were:
