Enrollment for Calvary Church summer day camp is still open

Enrollment is still open for Calvary Community Church’s summer day camp, Adventure Weeks. Beginning the week of June 16, children in grades 1-6 may participate in nine full weeks of activities and field trips. The price per week for camp is $160 which includes the price of admission to a variety of theme parks including Disneyland and Magic Mountain, which are visited once per week.

According to the church, Adventure Weeks provides a "fun, safe environment for kids to be able to develop as individuals and also to learn who Christ is through interaction with high quality counselors and through Bible lessons."

In related news, as part of the closing ceremonies for the church’s Vacation Bible School, Calvary will host the Sons of Thunder from 7-8:30 p.m. Fri., June 27 in the gym on the Oaks Christian School campus, 31749 La Tienda Drive, Westlake Village. The church describes the Sons of Thunder as a group of "world-renowned athletes who pair their ability to perform feats of strength with powerful testimonies of God’s grace working in their lives."
