Ballerina to study in D.C.

Dree Crisman of Westlake Village is among 37 dance students selected by Suzanne Farrell, a former New York City Ballet principal dancer, during auditions held throughout the country this past winter to participate in the 11th annual session of the Kennedy Center’s ballet training program "Exploring Ballet with Suzanne Farrell." The three-week residency for dancers ages 14-18 with at least five years of ballet training will be offered at the Kennedy Center from July 28-Aug. 16.

Students will also participate in a number of cultural activities including museum visits, trips to historical landmarks and attending performances.
