Isn’t very happy

Everyone living in Thousand Oaks should pay $6 million to guarantee that the views of people living along Lynn Road in Dos Vientos are never disturbed.

First, the city should donate an old barley field for which it paid $2.9 million to the Santa Monica [Mountains National] Recreation Area (SMMNRA). Second, the city should buy the adjacent Site 1 from the developer for over $3 million so that it also can become part of the SMMNRA

This was proposed by several people at Tuesday night’s Thousand Oaks City Council meeting. These people claimed to represent the majority of people living in the city.

I suggest that this proposal be put on the ballot. Personally, I think that this is the most ridiculous idea that I have ever heard, but I do not claim to represent the majority.
