Ham radio class is now forming

The Conejo Valley Amateur Radio Club is forming a class for prospective amateur (ham) radio operators. Classes will run from 7-8:45 p.m. Tuesdays beginning June 3 at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3645 Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks. Fee is $20 and includes the cost of the study manual and classroom materials.

The class will culminate just prior to a scheduled FCC examination in August. There is no minimum age requirement for FCC licensing. No previous technical knowledge is required.
