Cantors unite in concert at Temple Etz Chaim fundraiser

Temple Etz Chaim will host a Hazzanim concert, "Shema Koleinu: Hear Our Voices" at 8 p.m. Sun., June 1 at the temple, 1080 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Open to the community at large, the concert features "joyous music" and serves as a fundraiser for the temple.

The concert will feature Cantors Pablo Duek (Temple Etz Chaim), Peter Halpern (Temple Adat Elohim), Kenny Ellis (Temple Beth Haverim), Mike Stein (Temple Aliyah), Marcelo Gindlin (Malibu Jewish Center and Synagogue) and cantorial soloists Sandy Bernstein and Kim Moskowitz.

Tickets are $18 (seniors/students), $25 general admission, $50 reserved seating. Sponsorship levels, which include a special pre-concert reception, range from $100-$1,000. For more information, please call (805) 497-6891.
