Biblical scholar to speak at Emmanuel Presbyterian

The Rev. Tom Brewer, a noted Biblical scholar and pastor, will speak at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church (EPC) Men’s Breakfast from 7:30-9 a.m. Sat., May 17 in the Fireside Room, 588 Camino Manzanas, Thousand Oaks. His topic, "Becoming Real, Becoming Whole," will address why integrity is not automatic in the Christian life.

Brewer is executive director of Logos Ministries, a non-denominational ministry that presents seminars on "The Bible: Plain and Simple" on Monday nights at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Westlake Village. He has served as interim and/or associate pastor as well as senior pastor at several Southern California churches including Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village and is currently senior pastor at Agoura Bible Fellowship.
