Westlake grad is Ivy League softball player of the week

Rachel Murray of Westlake Village, a graduate of Westlake High School, had a breakout week recently for Harvard, driving in 10 runs including six in a double-header against Yale. Murray, a third baseman for the Crimson, hit a two-run single in the third inning of an 11-0 win over Marist.

Murray then hit a base-clearing double in the third inning of a 10-2 win over Yale, notching three of her six RBIs vs. the Bulldogs. Murray, who now leads Harvard with a .439 overall batting average, went 10 for 16, batting .625 for the week.
