Try on this amazing technicolor dreamcoat

Agoura Hills-based Chamberlains’ Performing and Fine Arts Academy will present "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" at 7:30 p.m. Fri., May 2 and at 2 and 7:30 p.m. Sat., May 3 in the Newbury Park High School Performing Arts Center, 456 N. Reino Road, Newbury Park.

The family musical was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber and centers around the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. The production will feature "modest, colorful costumes, fanciful scenery and fast-paced action suitable for both adults and children over the age of three," according to the Academy.

Cast members range in age from 6-15 and many hail from Agoura Hills, Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks including two Colina Middle School students, Joanna Bert, 14, and Richard Nebens, 12, who are featured in the production.

The show is produced by Jeff Chamberlain, directed by Lachelle Chamberlain and with music direction by Kimmarie Taylor, all of Agoura.
