Friends to
host book
sale

The Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library will present a used book sale from 6-8:30 p.m. Fri., Nov. 8 and from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sat., Nov. 9 at the Newbury Park Branch Library, 2331 Borchard Road, Newbury Park.

During the sale, a silent auction of collectible books will be held.

Among the books to be auctioned are signed books, art books and vintage "Oz" books.

To preview the books and read a brief description of each, including the estimated retail value, visit the Friends’ Web site at www.ftol.org and select "Book Sales" then "Silent Auction."

Book donations are accepted during regular library hours at the Newbury Park Branch Library and the Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.
