Holiday Home Tour coming

Four private homes—in Westlake Village’s Country Club Estates and North Ranch and in Old Agoura—will be featured in the 11th annual Holiday Homes Tour benefiting the Wellness Community Valley/Ventura. The self-guided tour will run from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sat., Dec. 7 and from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun., Dec. 8. Guests may visit each of the homes at their own pace.

Each home is decorated by the homeowners reflecting their personal holiday expressions and traditions. The themes for this year’s homes are: "Romance and Spirit of the Southwest"; "A Georgian Plantation Holiday"; "Antiquities Abound!"; and "I Cancelli." Guest will be guided through each home by trained docents who will point out some of the unique features at each home. Entertainment will be provided by various local musicians and groups.

Boutiques will be located at one or more of the homes and at the Gardens of the World community park in Thousand Oaks. The boutique at Gardens of the World will have free admission and is open to the public.

Featuring more than 18 specialty vendors from throughout Southern California, the boutique will be located in both the California Mission building and the Resource Center and will be open the same hours as the tours. Entertainment will be provided in the park’s gazebo; refreshments will also be available.

Tickets are $20 until the event, or $25 at the door, and are currently available at the Wellness Community, 530 Hampshire Road, Westlake Village and at many venues in the Las Virgenes/Conejo area. Included in the ticket price is admission to each of the four homes and the shuttle for the home in Country Club Estates. Additional information on the Holiday Homes Tour is available by calling the hotline at (805) 379-0030 or visiting the Website at www.wellnesscommunityhope.com.

Volunteers are needed to serve as docents (hosts and hostesses), cashiers and traffic management. Those wishing to volunteer are encouraged to call Ellyn Wallen at (805) 379-4777.
