Temple Adat Elohim to host roadshow Sisterhood Temple Adat Elohim presents "Antiques Roadshow 2002" from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sun., Nov. 10 in the temple’s social hall, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Find out answers to burning questions such as: What is it? Who made it? Where did it come from? What’s it worth? A professional certified art appraiser will provide an opinion of value on attendees’ fine art, antiques, objets d’art, family heirlooms and "other mystery items." Attendees may bring in any non-gemological item (limit three per person) or photographs and the temple’s in-house expert will advise as to the identity and value of the item(s). Those attending may bring paintings, sculptures, furniture, decorations, silver, ceramics, art glass, etc. Admission is $5 (applied to the first item appraised) plus a $5 donation per item. For more information on how to find out whether that long-treasured item is worthless—or worth a fortune—please call Regina Mann at (805) 379-3259. |
